What is Yunawrite?

Yunawrite is a free online word processor that runs entirely in your web browser. There is nothing to download or install, and you do not need to create an account. Simply visit yunawrite.com, start typing, and save your document in whatever format you need.

Open and Edit Word Documents Online

Yunawrite lets you open and edit Microsoft Word .docx files directly in your browser. You can also open RTF, plain text (.txt) and HTML documents. Save back to any of those formats - including Word .docx - with a single click.

Privacy - Your Documents Stay on Your Device

Wordi processes everything locally in your browser. Your documents are never uploaded to any server. Nothing you type is stored, tracked or shared.

Autosave - Experimental Feature

The Autosave toggle in the toolbar lets Yunawrite save a draft of your document to your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) every 30 seconds. If you close the tab accidentally, you will be offered the option to restore that draft when you next open Yunawrite.

Please note: this feature is experimental. It may not work correctly in all browsers or under all conditions - for example, very large documents, private/incognito mode, or certain browser security settings can prevent drafts from being saved or retrieved.

Important: Always save your work regularly using the Save button and keep a copy of your document on your device. We cannot be held liable for any loss of data, corruption, or other issues.
